BorosdChem camera system development for homogenization
Before the project started, there were more than 350 cameras on the BorsodChem site. They were of different types and what is even more problematic is that the manufacturer of most of them differed. In most cases these devices were used and managed locally.
The primary objective of the project is to use a new state-of-the-art digital IP camera system with a central manegment system. Thus the DAHUA DSS 6.0 was introduced, which could meet these requirements.
Meanwhile, our team of installation teams first replaced the fence protection cameras and then the factory's internal cameras with Dahua Ultra series PTZ cameras.
The next big milestone in development
In the next phase of the development, the armed guards and dispatch service received a new large and high-resolution monitor wall to make their work more efficient. This monitor wall is powered by a high-performance Dahua M70. After this, the plants were asset homogenized, which will make the development project a multi-year project. This enables BorsdChem to manage and service all aspects of the cameras on its almost 25 square kilometres of land with a central monitoring software, simplifying the lives of both supervisors and users of the equipment.
